Course overview
Home-based therapy requires working with not only the child, but the family as well. Involving parents and guardians is essential to a child’s short-term and long-term success. This training will discuss the ethical responsibilities of parent involvement and determining socially significant goals, as well as strategies for how to get parents actively involved in services to encourage participation and success. Generalization is targeted naturally and rapport is built when family members are included during ABA sessions.
